Did you watch the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony last Wednesday 23rd July?

The games which officially commenced in Glasgow last Thursday 24th July have seen a wide audience and support level so far. England have achieved many Gold medals already, for numerous sports.

Ben Proud won his second gold medal of the Commonwealth Games yesterday in the 50m freestyle final, he had already won the 50m butterfly gold medal earlier in the games. Englands women's team also achieved gold in the gymnastics team final at the Hydro Arena yesterday. Many more Gold medal have been achieved in a week so far.
